The objective of this article is twofold. First, it provides a framework for how one hearing aid manufacturer conducts its product research and how this framework contributes to more effective hearing aid selection and fitting decisions in the clinic. Second, the article presents a comprehensive synthesis of peer-reviewed studies, clinical trials, and real-world data evaluating the efficacy and effectiveness of Signia’s Integrated Xperience (IX) hearing aid platform and how these studies fit into this framework.
